Kaj želite doseči z izvedbo projekta? Kateri so cilji vašega projekta?

S projektom želimo mlade ozavestiti o besedi in pomenu manjšin, saj si velikokrat to besedo narobe razlagajo. Želimo si prebiti stereotipe, ki nastajajo do določenih manjšin in ozaveščati do večje strpnosti drug do drugega. S projektom želimo nadaljevati mrežo kulturnega poka in v mednarodnem okolju opozoriti na tematiko, ob enem pa si želimo, da se več organizacij odloči pripraviti podoben projekt pod istim imenom CultureCrash. Cilji našega projekta so: spoznati manjšine, ki živijo na območju partnerskih držav, seznaniti se s kulturo, običaji in tradicijami partnerskih držav, skozi praktične primere spoznati raznoliko kulturo, razvijanje osebnih kompetenc mladih udeležencev, spoznati manjšine, ki živijo v Pomurju in Sloveniji ob praktičnih primerih, spoznati obmejno življenje in kulture, ki bivajo na istem prostoru, podrobneje spoznati Romsko in Madžarsko manjšino v Sloveniji, ozavestiti mlade o pomembnosti raznolikosti preko socialnih omrežjih mlade Evropejce vzpodbuditi k aktivni participaciji v podobnih projektih, širiti strpnost med mladimi do različnih manjšin, vključevanje mladih z manj priložnostmi, spoznavanje področja človekovih pravic, urjenje v timskem delu, mreženje organizacij in utrjevanje partnerstva.

What do you want to achieve with the implementation of the project? What are the goals of your project?

The project seeks to make young people more aware of the meaning of minorities as well as the word itself, because it is often falsely interpreted. We wish to banish stereotypes that are steered towards certain minorities and contribute to greater tolerance towards each other. The project seeks to continue to develop a string of cultural crashes and highlight the issue in an international environment. Simultaneously, we wish to contribute to other organisations deciding to prepare similar projects with the same name – CultureCrash. Goals of our project: familiarize ourselves with minorities that live in the area of partnering countries, the culture, habits and traditions of partnering countries, familiarize ourselves with the diverse culture through practical examples, develop young participants personal competences, get to know minorities in the region of Pomurje and Slovenia through practical examples, get to know life near the border and the cultures that inhabit the same space, get to know the Roma and Hungarian minority in Slovenia, make young people more aware of the importance of diversity, encourage young Europeans to participate in similar projects through social media, spread tolerance among young people towards different minorities, include young people with lesser opportunities, get to know the field of human rights, improve team work skills, network organisations and strengthen the partnership.

Kakšne aktivnosti nameravate izvesti? Koliko udeležencev bo vključenih in kakšen je njihov profil?

Izvedli bomo eno aktivnost, mladinsko izmenjavo na tematiko CultureCrash: Celebrate diversity, kjer bomo spoznavali manjšine in strpnost drug do drugega. V projekt nas je vključenih 36 mladih udeležencev in prihajamo iz Slovenije, Hrvaške, Litve, Romunije, Grčije in Italije. Udeleženci mladinske izmenjave smo mladi v starosti od 17 do 30 let, med njimi tudi udeleženci z manj priložnostmi in nekateri mladinski vodje, ki smo starejši od 30 let. Nekaj udeležencev je že bilo vključenih v projekte Erasmus+, večina pa se nas srečuje z njimi prvič – to je tudi naš namen kot tudi promocija programa Erasmus+ med mladimi, ki programa še ne poznajo. Poudarek smo tudi dali vključevanju mladih z manj priložnostmi in sicer mladim, ki prihajajo iz ekonomsko slabše stoječega okolja in/ali živijo na geografsko manj ugodnem mestu, kar pomeni, da npr. prihajajo iz obmestnih okolij, kjer je dostopnost do programov za mlade slabša.

What activities do you plan to carry out? How many participants will be involved and what is their profile?

An activity will be implemented, youth exchange on the topic CultureCrash: Celebrate diversity, where we will get to know minorities and tolerance towards one another. The project includes 36 young participants from Slovenia, Croatia, Lithuania, Romania, Greece and Italy. Participants of the youth exchange are aged from 17 to 30, among them are participants with lesser opportunities and youth leaders that are over 30 years old. Some participants have been a part of the Erasmus+ projects in the past, while most are encountering these projects for the first time – our aim is to promote the Erasmus+ programme among young people that are not familiar the programme. Emphasis is placed on including young people with lesser opportunities and young people that come from weaker economic backgrounds or geographically remote areas, e. g. peri-urban areas where accessibility to programmes for young people is limited.

Kakšni so pričakovani rezultati in učinek vašega projekta?

S projektom želimo spodbujati evropsko sodelovanje na področju mladine, aktivno državljanstvo mladih na splošno in evropsko državljanstvo, kot tudi medsebojno razumevanje mladih iz različnih držav ter prispevati k razvoju kakovosti sistemov podpore za aktivnosti mladih. Na lokalni ravni bomo vsi mladi udeleženci sigurno pustili odtis med interakcijo z ljudmi v lokalnem okolju. Ljudje bodo morebiti postajali vedno bolj odprti do tujih gostov in postajali bolj gostoljubni, preostali mladi, ki niso udeleženci mladinske izmenjave, pa bodo spoznali program Erasmus+ in mogoče se bo povečala motivacija za vključitev v projekte mladinskih izmenjav. Hkrati želimo navdušiti mlade udeležence za ponovno vključitev v projekte mladinskih izmenjav, kot tudi za aktivno vključevanje in participacijo v družbi v drugih oblikah. Cilj je tudi spodbuditi organizacije v lokalnem, regionalnem, nacionalnem okolju in ne nazadnje tudi na mednarodni ravni, da organizirajo različne projekte za mlade in jih privabijo k sodelovanju in aktivni udeležbi. Skozi aktivnosti bomo spoznavali nove ljudi z različnim narodnostnim, kulturnim ozadjem ter se ob tem učili sprejemati drugačnost. Hkrati se bomo sigurno naučili kaj novega o drugih državah in kulturah, predvsem skozi predstavitve posameznih držav in kulturno-kulinaričnih večerov. Medsebojno se bomo povezovali, se podrobneje spoznavali, v okviru skupinskega dela krepili svoje kompetence timskega dela in pomembnosti prilaganja v skupini.

What are the expected results and impact of your project?

The project aims to promote European cooperation in the field of youth, active citizenship of young people in general and European citizenship, as well as mutual understanding of young people from different countries and contributes to the development of quality support systems for youth activities. At the local level, all young participants will certainly leave a footprint in the interaction with people in the local environment. People will probably become more open to foreign guests and become more hospitable, while the remaining young people who are not participants in youth exchange will get to know the Erasmus + program and may be motivated to participate in youth exchange projects. At the same time, we want to enthuse young participants to reintegrate into youth exchange projects as well as for active inclusion and participation in society in other forms. The aim is also to encourage organizations in the local, regional, national environment and, last but not least, at international level, to organize various projects for young people and to attract them to participate and participate actively. Through activities we will learn new people with different national, cultural backgrounds and learn how to accept the difference. At the same time, we will surely learn something new about other countries and cultures, especially through presentations of individual countries and cultural and culinary evenings. We will connect each other, get to know each other more closely, as part of the team work, we will strengthen our teamwork competencies and the importance of adapting to the group.
